SHOE DRIVE APRIL THROUGH MAY
Donate gently worn, used, and new shoes to our shoe drive in April and May, and make a difference in people’s lives around the world. All donated shoes will be redistributed by Funds2Orgs partners throughout the world to help micro-entrepreneurs create and grow small businesses in developing countries where economic opportunity and jobs are limited. Funds2Orgs also builds relationships with the people they help so they earn the opportunity to share the gospel with them. Place a rubber band around each pair of shoes, and bring them to the church collection bins during April and May. Visit Funds2Orgs.com.

“GIVE MY REGARDS TO BROADWAY!”
Come join the fun as the Academy third through eighth grade students perform this classic musical on Monday, April 23, and Tuesday, April 24, at 7:00pm at the KROC Center (424 Westfield Street). Tickets ($10 adults/$5 students) are on sale at the Academy office and the Vineyard bookstore.
Background story: The year is 1933, and America is still recovering from the Great Depression. A fledgling group of actors are trying to put on a musical comedy amongst the hardships brought on by the Stock Market Crash. Dick Foster, the director, is hunting for a star, looking for financial backing, and trying to keep the theater open. Along come an aspiring actress, a bookie on the run from the mob, and a financial “angel” to save the day.
This musical comedy incorporates George M. Cohan’s toe-tapping music and the talents of the Academy students singing “Give My Regards To Broadway,” “You’re A Grand Old Flag,” and many more. Get your tickets today!
