During the Fall for Greenville festival October 12-14, First Pres Boy Scout Troop 11 will be using our parking lots to raise money for their camping trips. If you are planning to attend Fall for Greenville sometime over the weekend, come by and make a donation to the Scouts for your parking needs. After our worship services on October 14, please cooperate with the Scouts as they direct outgoing and incoming traffic.

ACADEMY FALL FESTIVAL NEEDS YOU!
Our annual Academy Fall Festival, 5:00–8:00pm on Friday, October 26, welcomes kids of all ages! Volunteers are needed beginning at 4:30pm that day. Middle school students and older who volunteer to work during the festival will receive proof of hours worked to fulfill community service hours for civic organizations.
Sunday School classes are invited to sponsor a game or activity with volunteers and/or donations.
The Fall Festival Silent Auction is the Academy’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and your donations help tremendously! Suggested items include sports memorabilia or tickets, vacation homes for a week or weekend, gift baskets from a specific store, and any type of family-oriented activity.
The Academy also asks church members to donate baked goods and casseroles for sale at the Fall Festival. All donations may be dropped off during school hours Wednesday, October 24, through Friday morning, October 26.

NIGHT OF WORSHIP AND PRAYER
On Thursday, October 18, First Pres will host a Night of Worship and Prayer to unite the churches in the heart of our city, praying that people of the city will experience the blessing of God’s love. The event, held at the TD Stage at the Peace Center, will feature our Ignite Worship Team as well as worship leaders from other churches around Greenville. Our Prayer Team and other Prayer Ministry Teams from around the city will lead times of prayer throughout the event. The music and prayer will begin at 7:00pm, but you are invited to arrive at 5:30pm. HELP 4 FAMILIES SUPPORT GROUP OCTOBER 17
Help 4 Families, a support group for families and friends of someone who identifies as LGBT, provides mutual ministry and encouragement for families and friends of a LGBT loved one. Our leaders have experienced these same concerns and situations within their own families, and they offer a godly outlet for those seeking support.
