Sarah Gill joined our staff as Human Resources Manager effective February 5. In her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Clemson University, she specialized in Human Resources and Organizational Development, and has worked in management and HR for companies such as Chick-fil-A, BB&T, and Hilton. Sarah grew up as an active member of First Presbyterian. She served as a Youth Intern here in 2009 and on our Mothers Morning Out staff in 2017. Sarah and her husband, Geoffrey, have a two-year-old son, Elijah, and are expecting another baby boy in May. She looks forward to partnering with the First Pres staff and witnessing all the work the Lord is doing in and through our church.
From Bonnie Blackman,
It is bittersweet to announce my retirement effective March 2. During my 20 years of service here at FPC, I have seen God’s handiwork in and through members, leadership, and staff. It truly has been an honor and a privilege to work with you all. I feel God’s blessing upon this church and all of its ministries in a mighty way. May He continue to look upon you with favor and continued blessings. Colossians 3:15
