| Troop 11 has been sponsored
by First Presbyterian Church since 1911,
but we welcome boys from all faiths. Troop
11 was the first troop established in
South Carolina! In Scouting and especially
in Troop 11, we believe that the first
and foremost duty is in the start to the
Scout Oath, “On my Honor I will
do my best to do my duty to God.”

Cub Scouts
Cub Scout Pack 11
Boys ages 6–10 are welcome to join
Cub Scout Pack 11. Pack 11 has a lot of fun activities planned, including camping, songs, skits, crafts, and yes, selling popcorn. When you combine all this fun with dedicated leaders, you get boys learning new skills while having fun and spending time with positive role models, something many boys we try to reach don’t get.
Your support of the Scouting program, financially through your tithes and popcorn purchases, and spiritually through your prayers for our boys and leaders, enables a tremendous outreach of our church into the community.
Any and all boys who are in the first through fifth grades are welcome to join us at any Pack meeting and check out the fun in Cub Scouting. Contact Mike Wilder, Cubmaster, at 505-1183 or mwilder817@gmail.com.
Boy Scout Troop 11
Boys ages 11–17 are welcome to join
Boy Scout Troop 11. Come join us sailing on Lake Hartwell, canoeing, hiking and high ropes at Camp Buc, whitewater rafting, and many other adventures. Visit us any Tuesday night at 7:30pm at the Stewart-Adams Scout Building next to St. Mary’s on West Washington St. Contact Joe Barron, Scouting Coordinator, at 915-3982 or jmbarron@yahoo.com for more information.
Troop 11 is
an active troop, with camping trips scheduled
throughout the year. The troop has a higher
than usual percentage of Eagle Scouts
and provides a great opportunity for individual
growth.
Sea Scouts
Young men and women ages 14–20 are
invited to come sailing with the Sea Scouts.
For more information, contact Joe Barron at joembarron@yahoo.com. Sea Scouts go sailing on Lake
Hartwell, take beach trips to Kiawah,
are offered scuba classes, participate
in a Habitat for Humanity work day, and
help maintain the lakefront camp for John
Knox Presbyterian Church.
