WEDNESDAY ADVANTAGE

The Advantage of Wednesday Nights at First Church
Wednesday is considered by most to be the “HUMP” day of the week. Once one makes it over the hump the rest of the week flows smoothly. Wednesday is also a time for “MIDCOURSE CORRECTION.” One who successfully makes it over the hump with a corrected course has an “ADVANTAGE” which carries over into every area of life. This is the philosophical foundation of our Wednesday Advantage Ministry.

God’s Word is the focus of this ministry. We offer courses of every type in order to carry out our purpose found in Colossians 1:28,“…Christ we proclaim, we train everyone and teach everyone the full scope of this knowledge in order to set everyone before God mature in Christ.” Wednesday Advantage is different from our Sunday morning Sunday School and also our other weekday education venues. We want you to grow in God’s grace, not to groan in disgrace.

The ADVANTAGES of Wednesday nights at First Church are many: Supper and fellowship with those who love the Lord Jesus, study of God’s Word, joyful music, and study for our children. There are courses of study and training that range from the basics to the deep areas of our faith. Pick up one of the brochures or information sheets and take one of the courses to turn “Hump Day” into a “Mountain
Top Experience.”
