At First Presbyterian
Church, we desire for worship to be at the heart
of everything
we do as a community of faith.
Worship is an encounter with the living Holy
God.
It isn't simply a scheduled meeting
or a religious activity.
Come, let us bow down
in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our
Maker; for he is our God and we are the people
of his pasture, the flock under his care. Psalm
95:6
Traditional Worship
8:15am and 11:00am in the Sanctuary
Our 8:15am and 11:00am Sunday morning services
are traditional in nature and usually identical
in format. The Word of God is preached with
passion and relevancy, the sacraments of Baptism
and Communion are regularly celebrated, and
God is glorified through the gifts of music.
Our morning worship seeks to reverently glorify
God, while joyfully expressing the contagious
excitement of being part of the family of God.
During the summer, one of our associate pastors normally preaches
at these services. Music is typically led by
our magnificent pipe organ or on the piano,
with the Chancel Choir helping God's people
to worship. The morning services are dynamic
as the powerful presence of Jesus Christ is
evident.

Current Sermon Series:
Ephesians
Can you think of a point in your life when you were quite certain that your life was moving in a new direction? Was it when you went off to College ? Fell in love? Got married ? Were promoted at work? These are often the times which stick in our minds.
So let me ask you another question. Has there been a time when you have sensed God at work in your life? I don’t mean when did you last attend church or when you last prayed. But a time when you experienced an intimate, settled conviction that he was calling you to a deeper relationship with him.
Over the next few weeks we will be looking in depth at the New Testament book of Ephesians and if you are looking for a church who takes the bible seriously and seeks to apply it to our lives join us, but don’t be surprised that when you do God may take you seriously as well.
