FOR COVENANT PARTNERS OF FPC ONLY*

FPC’s Ministry Development Course (MDC) is comprised of seven sessions.

It is open to all covenant partners in the congregation, and is great preparation for individuals with a zeal for Transforming the Heart of the City. In addition, it is also a prerequisite for nomination as an elected church officer, but a valuable resource for all members. You are invited to attend one of the two orientation meetings:

Wednesday, January 4 (6:00–7:30pm, Room B301) - or Sunday, January 8 (9:00–10:30am, D105-Formal Dining Room). Register using buttons below:

Wednesday Classes Sunday Classes

Course participants will meet once a month on either Sundays or Wednesdays beginning in mid-February and will dive deeply into such topics as Discipleship and Leadership Basics, Spiritual Gifting, ECO Essential Tenets and Polity, Evangelism, and FPC’s Strategic Vision.

Contact Brian Stewart (bstewart@firstpresgreenville.org) for more details.

Please note Sundays and Wednesdays cover the same material and are offered at two times for convenience. You may swap days if you cannot attend your regularly scheduled class.

*After completing a meaningful preparation process as determined by the session, those who wish to embrace the congregation’s covenantal expectations may become covenant partners by action of the session after hearing testimony of their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. For those not previously baptized, the Sacrament of Baptism is to be provided for these new covenant partners and offered to children under their care.
