There are many ways to get involved there. 

*Room Parents commit to going to the school at least 2x/month to assist a teacher in various ways. If you are interested in knowing more about that, contact Edith Parks (hollisroomparents@gmail.com). 

*Over 110 students receive food bags every Friday during the school year to ensure that they have nutritious food at home over the weekend. Those food bags are packed at the church 2x/month and people are needed to transport the bags to the school 1x/month on Thursdays. If you’re interested in finding out more about that, contact Emily Moore (em9600@aim.com)

*To hear about other ways to volunteer at the school (mentoring a student, reading to a first grader, helping in the media center) or If you are willing to be placed on a Drop-of-the-Hat list to be contacted occasionally as one-time needs arise, contact Beth Simmons (simmonsfam@charter.net)
