Community Bible Study is making disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study, available to all. On Sept 13, we will begin our study with Joshua and follow it with Revelation and Colossians as we complete our year in May of 2022.

The book of Joshua picks up where Deuteronomy leaves off. After leading the Israelites out of Egypt and through 40 years of wanderings in the wilderness, Moses died. But God remained faithful to His promise. He appointed Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land, where they would at last find rest in a place of their own.

Revelation is an exciting study in which Jesus Christ appears in all His glory. He is revealed as the Lamb of God, Bridegroom, King, and Judge. Prophecies are examined against the backdrop of God’s overriding plan for creation since the beginning of time and on through eternity. Class members will be inspired to worship and challenged to live in watchful readiness for the Lord’s return.

Colossians is a letter written to combat error in the church. Paul pointed the believers at Colossae to Jesus as the Head of His body, the Church. Paul also told the Colossian believers that they had fullness in Christ. The questions in this course are thought-provoking and challenging.
