Music & Worship Arts

We are here to help lead WORSHIP,
to CULTIVATE a family within a family,
to make an IMPACT through music,
and to FORTIFY our church through the giving of time and talent.

Music is not merely an important part of worship. Music is worship, and we serve God by offering our best music to facilitate our congregation’s relationship with God. The music program at First Presbyterian in Greenville, SC, includes children’s, youth, and adult choirs, a handbell choir, and an orchestra. All musicians in the program see music as a continual journey toward excellence, and musicians at all skill levels are invited to join us in musical and spiritual growth.

Music Staff Choirs and Ensembles

Our church has been blessed with buildings and facilities second to none, and the Ministry of Music is no exception. In the Choir Room: Young Chang Piano, 1988 (7-foot concert grand); Roland HP-330 Digital Piano, 1997; Roland D-50 Synthesizer, 1988; Wenger Musician® posture chairs.
