The Old Testament book of Isaiah can seem formidable. It seems to be full of unpronounceable names and unfamiliar places. Yet it is often considered to be the deepest, richest, and most theologically significant book in the Old Testament. It is, without question, an insightful affirmation of the character and nature of God.
Across the sixty-six chapters Isaiah powerfully reminds us of exactly who God is in His sovereignty and majesty. As a book it spans the centuries and reaches between the Old Testament and the New Testament, enhancing our understanding of God while pointing forward to the coming of Christ and the salvation of humanity. Please join us as we explore Insights from Isaiah and live out our faith week by week.
