Authentic Community -- Authentic Growth in Christ
At Roots, we believe in the power of “together.” All throughout scripture, commands are given within the context of community. Love one another, serve one another, forgive one another, pray for one another, etc. A large part of God’s redemptive plan are our brothers and sisters in Christ. Our goal is to create an authentic family that students can walk through middle school, high school, and the rest of life with. Through this family, our belief is that God will grow us to look more like his Son. Everything that we do is centered upon this belief: that authentic growth in Christ leads to authentic community, and authentic community leads to authentic growth in Christ. In the seven years that span 6th – 12th grade, we pray fun is had, memories are made, and that ultimately hearts are drawn near to God.
