First Pres is MISSIONAL, meaning that our focus is on Jesus’ command to go into all the world and be his ambassadors, adopting a missionary stance in relation to our culture. We financially support over 90 missionaries and agencies.


A Child’s Haven
A non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young children who have experienced developmental delays or behavioral challenges.

Bethany Christian Services
A licensed, accredited, pro-life crisis pregnancy center and adoption agency.

Bel-Aire Community Outreach
A ministry that focuses on rebuilding and evangelizing one of Greenville’s largest and roughest inner-city neighborhoods

Boxes of Love Thanksgiving Outreach
A Christian outreach that enables churches and organizations to distribute boxes containing a family Thanksgiving meal to those in need.

Child Evangelism Fellowship
An evangelical, Bible-centered mission whose purpose is to lead the unsaved children of the Piedmont District of SC to a saving knowledge of Christ and encourage them to attend local churches.

Christian Learning Center
A ministry that provides Greenville public school students with Released-time Christian education to receive biblical instruction during the school day.

Cross Culture Network 
A ministry to international students who study or work at several universities and colleges in the Upstate, giving us an opportunity to touch the world here at home.

Eden Farms
A family-run barn in the SC foothills; through Happy Hooves Therapeutic Riding Program, experienced PATH Intl credited therapeutic riding instructors help children and adults with a range of disabilities.

Executive Ministries/Campus Crusade 

Hispanic Russell Memorial
A ministry that serves the hispanic community through a Health Fair, ESL classes, computer classes, First Aid classes, learning readiness (preparation for kindergarten), after-school tutoring (elementary school age), and legal seminars

Hollis Academy Elementary School
A local public school with approximately 600 students, kindergarten through 5th grade, 98 percent of whom live at or below poverty level; FPC ministers in multiple ways to the students, families, and faculty.

Furman FCA

GAIHN (Greenville Area Interfaith Hospitality Network)
A network that enables local congregations to share hospitality (in the form of emergency shelter, meals, and transitional housing) with homeless families that include children, and to help those families achieve self-sufficiency and self-fulfillment.

Greenville Free Medical Clinic
A Greenville-based medical ministry established for local residents who are unable to afford medical care.

Greenville Rescue Mission
A local mission on Washington Street which provides food, shelter, and Christian counseling.

Miracle Hill Ministries
A a non-profit organization dedicated to providing extensive services to individuals and families in the form of food, shelter, clothing, personal development, addiction recovery support, and residential and foster care for children.

Neighborhood Focus
A ministry that creates hope and opportunities for Greenville’s at-risk students in grades K5-12 through year-round Christ-centered educational and social enrichment.

Piedmont Women’s Center
A Christian support organization for pregnant women and girls in need of guidance, encouragement, and counseling.

Project Host
A local soup kitchen that provides meals for families and children throughout the Greenville community, and trains unemployed and under-employed people for food service jobs.

Salvation Army
The Greenville branch of the national organization that provides food, shelter, and Christian counseling; Greenville's Kroc Center focuses on education, recreation, mentoring, and wholesome family values.

Shepherd’s Gate
A local Christian home for abused and homeless women and children.

Summit Ministries
A Christian outreach to residents of the nearby Greenville Summit apartments.

United Ministries
An ecumenical ministry that provides a variety of services for those in need in the Greenville area.
