The Books of 1 & 2 Peter
The Apostle Peter, the preeminent witness of Jesus Christ in the early Christian Church, wrote his two epistles at a time of great persecution and apostasy. Peter teaches that we are “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood” (1 Peter 2:9), called to be holy. Join us as we seek after the traits of our Savior’s divine nature and grow in our knowledge of God.

The Armor of God, by Priscilla Shirer
As a believer in Jesus, you are in an invisible war every day. It’s unseen and unheard, but it affects your life and everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. Jesus has not left you unarmed, and the enemy always fails when he meets a woman properly dressed. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer’s inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.

The Gospel of John
Each gospel emphasizes different aspects of Jesus’ life and ministry. John wrote his gospel to show that Jesus was God Incarnate: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning” (John 1:1-2). As a personal eyewitness to Jesus’ personal encounters with people from all walks of life, John shows us Jesus’ love, compassion, and concern for the lost, the hurting, and the marginalized, as well as His keen insight into humanity’s condition. Come join us as we unpack the riches of God’s Word as presented in the Gospel of John and grow closer to our Lord and to each other.
