Grace Bereavement

The apostle Paul said, “We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is... serving, let him serve... if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully” (Romans 12:5-8).
We are expanding our Grace Bereavement Ministry and would love to hear from you if you feel called to fill this vital role. Our purpose is to provide meals for members of our church family who have suffered the loss of an immediate family member, provided a First Presbyterian Church pastor conducts the service in Greenville. We deliver a meal to the home, for up to 20 people, on the day of the funeral. If there is no family home to which we can deliver, we serve the meal in our Formal Dining Room at the church.
  • Have you been the recipient of a funeral meal after the death of a loved one?
  • Do you have the gift of hospitality and serving?
  • Might you be called to serve in this vital ministry?
Please contact Don Feuerbach (dfeuerbach@firstpresgreenville.org or 864.235.0496) for details on how you can serve.
