Each week Pastor Gibbons will bring a message from his series: “And the Soul Felt Its Worth.” We’ll sing carols, hear the Christmas story read by children, and light the Advent candles of Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace. Join us each Sunday as we celebrate the coming of the Christ child.

Service of Remembrance

The Service of Remembrance is a time to honor and remember loved ones who will be especially missed during the Christmas season. ­This beautiful candlelight service led by the pastors will include Scripture readings with a time of reflection and meditation, the observance of Holy Communion, special seasonal music, and commemorative candle lighting.

Refreshments with will be served immediately following the service.

“And Heaven and Nature Sing”
Saturday, December 12


2:00pm and 6:00pm


“And Heaven and Nature Sing” is a concert event for all ages with a delightful variety of Christmas music performed by the First Presbyterian Church choir, chamber orchestra, guest soloists, and a piano quartet. This 90-minute event will fill your soul with the spirit of the season!

Tickets ($8) are on sale now in the Vineyard and will be available online beginning November 23. Seating is limited. As a gift to the community both concerts will be live-streamed at no charge.

 

Christmas Eve Services


  Thursday, December 24
Services will be ticketed due to limited seating. Free tickets will be available soon from the Vineyard bookstore and online. All services will be live-streamed.

2:00pm Afternoon Service
During this traditional service, we will enjoy Scripture readings and carols that celebrate the birth of Christ. Dr. Gibbons will give a Christmas message.

5:00pm Children’s Service

Bring your little ones and come early for a seat. We’ll sing favorite carols, hear special music by the Children’s and Youth Choirs, light the Advent candle, and experience a live nativity. Senior Pastor Dr. Richard Gibbons will give a children’s message and all children in attendance will receive a special gift. A nursery is available.
