This semester, we will continue our study of Matthew’s gospel. Matthew, the first of the four gospel accounts of the life of our Lord, is the longest of the four and the most Jewish. Serving as a bridge between the Old and New Testaments, Matthew presents Jesus as Messiah and King of Israel, the fulfillment of all that the Old Testament anticipates. This study will focus on who Jesus is and what it means for us today to be His disciples and grow into His likeness.
